Anneliese Jones is a qualified Solicitor with over 12 years’ experience of dealing with injury claims. She works in the Medical Negligence Department at Shoosmiths.

Anneliese joined Shoosmiths in July 2007 and worked in the serious injury department before moving to the clinical negligence department in November 2011.

Anneliese is committed to developing close working relationships with her clients and their families. She has extensive experience in high value serious injury and fatal accident claims.

She deals exclusively with clinical negligence cases against hospitals and GPs including, for example brain injury claims, cerebral palsy claims, misdiagnosis or delayed diagnosis, surgical injury, birth trauma and claims against care homes.

Anneliese is passionate about her work and works exceptionally hard to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Where possible she secures an interim payment as soon as possible in the claim so that she can try to address her client's immediate needs whether it be accommodation, rehabilitation or care and assistance.

Anneliese works within a team of highly qualified lawyers who have a wealth of experience in all aspects of Clinical Negligence Claims. She works closely with Denise Stephens, Partner and the Head of Basingstoke Medical Negligence Team on exceptionally high value claims. One such claim for cerebral palsy settled for over £10.8 million in April 2012.

Anneliese graduated with a 2:1 degree in Law from Brunel University followed by to achieving a Distinction at Law School.

Anneliese has also achieved Senior Litigator accreditation status with APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers)
