Sara Hunt is a Partner working in the Personal injury department.

Sara joined Shoosmiths in July 2008 as head of Personal Injury in the Birmingham office.

Sara works on a wide range of diverse cases across personal injury, including complex accidents at work, road traffic accidents and accidents in public places.

Sara’s specialist area is industrial disease claims. She has expertise in dealing with asbestos-related cases and is experienced in utilising the fast-track procedures to ensure these cases are dealt with both quickly and sensitively.

She settled one client's claim who was suffering from mesothelioma (an asbestos-related cancer) within 5 months of first being instructed. Her client wrote, "Thank you so much for all your help, advice and kind words. We really appreciate everything you have done."

Sara had been involved a Court of Appeal case and a number of high value settlements. Another asbestos client wrote, “A heartfelt thanks from my wife and myself for you attentiveness and professionalism.” She also represents families at Coroner's Inquests.

Sara is on the Law Society of Personal Injury Panel and is a member of the Association of personal injury lawyers.

Outside of work, Sara also enjoys ski-ing, theatre and the gym.
